I'll tell the Lindisfarne.co.uk website as this is their version...

Ray Jackson’s Lindisfarne is Jacka’s LINDISFARNE Mk 3 as Ray Jackson jointly fronted both the original LINDISFARNE (1970/73 and 1976/90) and LINDISFARNE Mk 2 (1973/75), recording all of the band’s hits and appearing, along with the late Alan Hull, on every studio album for the first 20 years of Lindisfarne’s existence.
The new 2013 LINDISFARNE Mk 3 is comprised of 5 former members of Lindisfarne from all three past eras of the band along with Geordie drummer Paul Thompson, known by Roxy Music fans worldwide as “the great Paul Thompson” and may be augmented by other musicians. Very Happy

yah jakks, but techcnically the 4th line up!
Mr Inbetween

I have sympathy with Kristy's reckoning on this one. But, I guess the official count of three is because the line-up with Billy came from evolution rather than reconstruction.

If you want to be picky, you could count all the following:

1  Original
2  MkII
1  Reunion
3  Plus Marty
4  Minus Jacka
5  Minus Simon
?  Plus DHD and Ian (or were they extras at this point)
6? Plus Billy (and DHD and Ian, if not counted above)
7? Minus Marty
8   Ray Jackson's Lindisfarne

Which of course raises another point. Is this a MkIII Lindisfarne, or a MkI Ray Jackson's Lindisfarne?

Discuss.
Mick

And then of course, there's the live line ups that included Steve Cunnigham, Steve Daggett, Brendan Healey, a returning Kenny Craddock and the two backing singers - Liz Wilson and Amanda Charles-Vincent.

Are we up to Mk 99 yet?
