old fans

I like Ray Jacksons bit about looking for advertising for the programe, from steredent etc.
As we stood out side waiting for the doors to open the wind was howling and it was cold, and they did not open the doors till the last min.
There was Q all the way around the corner at 6.20pm
The city hall could have opened the doors a bit earlier made more money in the bar , do they not know most lindisfarne fans are Oaps with a bus pass, and need to be in the warm

Barry McKay tells me....

"The City Hall bar was open early at 6pm every night....there's a side entrance. The doors which normally open at 7pm for all City Hall shows were opened 15 minutes early at 6.45pm. Bands have to have sound checks".
