I find, when looking to choose an album.... 9 times out of 10.. Amigos is the choice....

I don't usually select individual tracks, but play complete albums. The song I've played most because of this has to be Lady Eleanor, which is probably on every live album and compilation; performed by the original band, MkII, reunion band, and "Mk3". And, of course Alan solo, and more recently, The Gathering. That isn't to say it's the song I always most want to hear, great though it is! Possibly the one song that most prompts me to play any Lindisfarne album is No Time To Lose - a great opener. Once that comes into mind, I know I'm going to play Lindisfarne.

Hmm... if I'm in a phase of listening to complete albums, then it would usually be 'Dingly Dell' more than any other, so 'All Fall Down' would become the most played. But overall, it would probably be 'One More Bottle of Wine' from the final LF concert that has been played most in my music library!

Probably Winter Song from Magic In The Air. But then again all the
Christmas shows, as they bring back the memories.

I don't know about everyone else, but I tend to play something to death for a while then leave it alone and find something else to obsess over. My current fave is 'One World' from 'Amigos' but no doubt that will change.

I agree with Edwina that, album-wise, "Amigos" often surfaces! Completely spoiled for choice though, and there's too many favourite individual songs to mention. "Lady Eleanor", "Passing Ghosts", "Don't Ask Me", "In Your Head", "Steppenwolf", "Evening", "Run for Home", "Warm Feeling", "Nights", "Sunderland Boys", "Winning The Game", "You're The One", "When The Night Comes Down", "Song for A Stranger", "So Lonely" "Born At The Right Time" etc. etc. etc.

The one track that has never been out of favour with me is Roll On River - Sorry Mick!

I'm going to be boring and say Lady Eleanor, only because it's the album I've had the longest.Incidentally , somebody once told me that Lady Eleanor was the only song that the band ( before & after Alan ) played at all their shows. True or not I wonder ?

"Remember Tomorrow" from Promenade.
It was my first Lindisfarne CD as previously I'd always thought the band to be a load of hippie folks singers. A night at the Tyne Theatre, dragged kicking and screaming by my OH proved me wrong. Now have all of them, but Remember Tomorrow is particularly poignant for me.
